November and December feature many annual holiday events. It all begins with the Light Parade and Lighting of Shipshewana on November 7, 2020! Don't miss Shipshewana's Lights of Joy Drive Thru! Christmas celebrations continue with Chocolate Day, Wana Night Out, Kids Day and Santa comes to town, Shipshewana Ice Festival December 29 & 30, 2020 and more.   • Lighting of Shipshewana-Light Parade
    This year's Holiday Light Parade has unfortunatley been cancelled, however, you can still visit Shipshewana all through November and December to view the amazing traditional lights throughout the entire downtown shopping area. You can also see the beautiful lighted tree next to Shipshewana Furniture and the lights all over town at many other shops, plus while you are here, visit the newest attraction, the Shipshewana Lights of Joy located on the Shipshewana RV Park Grounds. It is a 1.5 mile long symphony of lights that is sure to be an awesome sight for you and your family this season. Shipshewana is open this Christmas season and is truly a spectacular place to create family traditions!

  • Shipshewana Ice Festival
    December 29th, 2020 Come watch professional ice carvers create unimaginable pieces of art! Pieces for local businesses will be carved on Tuesday, December 29th.
  • Mayfest
    May 7 & 8, 2021 Shipshewana MayFest kicks off on Friday, May 7th with entertainment and food at the main tent all day long. Friday evening will feature musical talent in the main tent. Saturday features the huge parade stepping off at 10am and then enjoy entertainment for all ages all day!
  • Shipshewana Quilt Festival

    August 7, 2021 8am – 4pm Farmstead Expo Barn & Event Pavilion, 368 S Van Buren St Bring the family and find a treasure at the Shipshewana Antique Festival. Shop quality dealers who set up selling antiques, jewelry, vintage items, collectibles, furniture, up-cycled products, glassware, and toys, and more! There is also delicious food and door prizes!
