  • Fall Crafters Fair
    October 3rd-5th, 2019 FOR THE FIRST TIME THE FALL CRAFTER’S FAIR IS COMING TO THE MEC! The MEC will be hosting a festival of crafters, artisans, vintage sellers, and musicians that has become an annual fall event. The festival is set to start at 9am, October 3rd and will continue to run all day on the 4th and 5th, 2019. The event is planned for families and individuals looking for something truly unique and different from normal weekend routines. ADMISSION WILL BE $5 THE BEST SHIPSHEWANA HAS TO OFFER QUILTERS, CARVERS, PAINTERS, BLACKSMITHS, MUSICIANS AND CRAFTERS OF ALL TYPES WILL FLOOD THE TOWN AND ITS MANY QUAINT STORES, PROVIDING DEMONSTRATIONS AND ENTERTAINMENT FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. FAMILY-FRIENDLY FUN THERE WILL BE EVENTS FOR ALL AGES AND TASTES. LITTLE ONES WILL ENJOY A WHOLE TENT JUST FOR THEM FILLED WITH FUN HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES AS WELL AS FREE RIDES ON A KIDDIE TRAIN. PARENTS WILL HAVE PLENTY TO SEE AND DO AS WELL, FROM HAND-PAINTED AND PERSONALIZED DECOR, TO LEATHER WORKERS, AND MUSICIANS THAT WILL PLAY AS YOU ENJOY THE FOOD AVAILABLE IN TOWN.   • Lighting of Shipshewana-Light Parade
    The Holiday Light Parade and Lighting of Shipshewana on November 9,2019 kicks off the Christmas season in Shipshewana and begins at dusk (6pm. The parade will wander throughout Shipshewana. Along with the traditional tree lighting in front of the Blue Gate Restaurant & Theatre, there will be Christmas Carols, Santa visits at The Davis Mercantile and refreshments throughout town. Activities all day long throughout town, including a Christmas pedestrian walk-way along Harrison Street. This is truly a spectacular event!
  • Christmas In Shipshewana
    November and December feature many holiday events. It all begins with the Light Parade and Lighting of Shipshewana on November 9th! Don't miss Shipshewana's Lights of Joy Drive Thru! Christmas celebrations continue with Chocolate Day on November 16th, Wana Night Out on December 3rd, Kids Day and Santa comes to town on December 7th, Shipshewana Ice Festival December 27th & 28th and more.   • Shipshewana Ice Festival
    December 27th & 28th, 2019 Come watch professional ice carvers create unimaginable pieces of art! Pieces for local businesses will be carved on Friday, Dec. 27th. On Saturday, December 28th competition carving begins at 10am and a chili cook-off!
  • SHIPSHEWANA PAJAMA DAY SALE
    February 1, 2020 Shipshewana IN - The inns, hotels and B & B's have already started to accept your reservations for the annual Shipshewana Pajama Sale, as hundreds make plans for their annual trip for overnight pajama parties, and early morning shopping in their jammies. Most stores open doors at 6 a.m. and some even earlier.
  • Mayfest
    May 1 & 2, 2020 Shipshewana MayFest kicks off on Friday, May 1st with entertainment and food at the main tent all day long. Friday evening will feature musical talent in the main tent. Saturday features the huge parade stepping off at 10am and then enjoy entertainment for all ages all day!
  • Shipshewana Quilt Festival

  • Shipshewana Antique Festival
    August 3, 2019 8am – 4pm Farmstead Expo Barn & Event Pavilion, 368 S Van Buren St Bring the family and find a treasure at the Shipshewana Antique Festival. Shop quality dealers who set up selling antiques, jewelry, vintage items, collectibles, furniture, up-cycled products, glassware, and toys, and more! There is also delicious food, entertainment and door prizes! Other Antique Festival events include an antique telephone show, a classic car cruise-in, a swap meet and a steam & gas show.
