Shipshewana IN - The inns, hotels and B & B's have already started to accept your reservations for the annual Shipshewana Pajama Sale, as hundreds make plans for their annual trip for overnight pajama parties, and early morning shopping in their jammies. Most stores open doors at 6 a.m. and some even earlier.

Kite Komotion 2016!

Kite Komotion Festival & Clinic is held at the Shipshewana Event Center. Free admission and activities, sponsored by LaGrange Community Youth Centers, Inc. & Head Over Heels, LLC.
Watch International Kite Teams dance their kites to music. Activities include: A "Learn to Fly" Clinic - Free Make Your Own Kite Kits to the first 500 kids - Candy Drop for Children - Family Fly Field. Bring your lawn chairs and spend the entire day.

MayFest

May 6, 7, 2016
Shipshewana MayFest kicks off on Friday, May 6th with entertainment and food at the main tent all day long. Friday evening will feature musical talent in the main tent.
Saturday features the huge parade stepping off at 10am and then enjoy entertainment for all ages all day!

Shipshewana Road Run 2016

On Saturday, May 7th, 2016, the Shipshewana Road Run will be taking place as part of Shipshe's annual Mayfest celebration. The event will feature two races designed for runners of all ages and experience levels.

We will kick things off at 8:15 a.m. with the 1 Mile Fun Run. At 8:30 am, the 5K Shipshewana Road Run begins at 345 North Morton Street at the Wolfe Building. The 5K race is designated for anyone over 13 years of age. Click on the link for more information and to pre-register.

Shipshewana Quilt Festival 2016

June 22 through 25, 2016
The Shipshewana Quilt Festival is a 4-day event with many activities including: lectures; workshops; Shop Hop; and Quilt & Vendor Show.
Lectures by nationally recognized quilters Eleanor Burns, Edyta Sitar, plus: Dawn Cavannaugh and Sue Nickels!; educational schoolhouse; quilting workshops; a shop hop; a Quilt & Vendor Show; and many more activities throughout the county.

Fall Crafters Fair

September 29th - October 1st, 2016
Shipshewana will be hosting a festival of crafters, entertainers, and musicians that has become an annual fall event. The festival will take place in and around the town, located in the heart of beautiful Northern Indiana Amish Country. The festival is set to start at 9am on September 29th and will continue to run all day on September 30th and October 1st. The event is planned for families and individuals looking for something truly unique and different from normal weekend routines.
